Hello my name is Randal Lynn Taylor and I live in Duncan, Oklahoma USA. I was born and raised in the Mountain State, West Virginia
I was born at Gordonís Hospital in Spencer, Roane County, West Virginia on Friday October 13, 1961. I spent much of my early years in Newton, West Virginia, except for a short time on Snow Hill Drive in Charleston.
I attended Newton Elementary School from the first grade thru the start of sixth grade, when the family moved to Procious, West Virginia in Clay County; I finished the sixth grade at Maysel Elementary School. I attended Clay Junior High School for the seventh and eighth grades, where I was on the student counsel. I attended Clay High School from the ninth thru twelfth grade, graduating on May 25, 1979. During high school I held the office of Secretary for the Clay Chapter of the Future Farmers of America from freshman thru senior year. I also held the office of Secretary of the Central District Chapter of West Virginia of the Future Farmers of America my senior year. Sadly neither Newton Elementary School nor Maysel Elementary School is still in existence.
After high school I spent a little time with the US Air Force, and then enlisted in the Army. After training at the Artillery School at Fort Sill, near Lawton, Oklahoma, I was stationed at Fort Bragg, near Fayetteville, North Carolina with the 82nd Airborne Division. My two favorite accomplishments from my service are: the Parachutist Badge (jump wings) and the Expert Marksmanís Badge especially because of the commendations I received for hitting forty out of forty targets every year I was in the Army.
Since the service I have been employed mainly in the Logistics and Warehousing profession; except for three years as an Asbestos Abatement Technician, in the Tidewater and Hampton Roads area of southern Virginia. My work history includes order picking and shipping for a hair bow manufacturer in Chesapeake, Virginia, dock hand thru operation management for a third party logistics company in Memphis, Tennessee; West Memphis, Arkansas; and Front Royal, Virginia. Currently I am employed as an associate warehouseman; I fill the job of Warehouse Service Desk / Will Call at Halliburton Energy Servicesí Duncan Manufacturing Center in Duncan, Oklahoma.
